Role Summary:

The Bilingual IDP Assessor plays a vital role within the IMPACT Intoxicated Driver Program (IDP). This position involves conducting assessments through in-person or telephonic interactions with clients, identifying their needs, and recommending suitable community resources. The Assessor is also tasked with documentation and some case management duties to ensure exceptional service quality and enhance client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive IDP assessments via in-person or telephonic methods.
  2. Provide informed recommendations and referrals to appropriate community resources.
  3. Complete necessary documentation within specified timeframes.
  4. Offer case management services as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely records of documentation.
  6. Participate in all departmental meetings related to Assessment and Referral.
  7. Attend assigned agency or departmental meetings.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations regarding client confidentiality.
  9. Maintain required continuing education hours for relevant licensing and contract obligations.
  10. Actively engage in and support the organization's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  2. SAC-IT certification is required if the Bachelor's degree is the highest level of education.
  3. IDP-AT license is preferred; if not currently licensed, the candidate must obtain it within one year of employment.
  4. A minimum of one year of experience in the Substance Use Disorder services field is necessary.
  5. Proficiency in computer software such as Word and Excel; ability to learn new software systems and agency-related applications.
  6. Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
  7. Must reside in the State of Wisconsin.
