Job Summary:

The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, supplies, and materials are received, stored, catalogued, and shipments prepared in a manner consistent with Sharp Business Systems best practices.

This role will involve maintaining and coordinating appropriate stock levels through inventory controls, assisting with purchasing and receiving functions, and ensuring timely and accurate recording in the operating system.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of previous warehouse experience, strong computer skills, and familiarity with warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and coordinate inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts.
  • Assist with purchasing and receiving functions, including timely and accurate recording in the operating system.
  • Responsible for inventory control, including equipment fixed assets, cycle counts, and physical inventories per Company policy.
  • Maintain adequate and appropriate stocking levels.
  • Coordinate and track return of non-Company assets by working closely with administration and sales personnel.
  • Maintain inventory in an organized and labeled method, working with warehouse personnel.
  • Operate machinery such as forklifts to properly store materials.
  • Maintain overall warehouse organization and cleanliness.
  • Pick and prepare orders for assembly or shipment.
  • Order tracking through various vendor relationships.
  • Assist on delivery trucks and in the field with installs and related movements as needed.
  • Secure unloading and loading of trucks and movement of palletized and non-palletized product.
  • Order tracking of incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Assist with daily trash and recycling management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 3-5 years previous warehouse experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including equipment replenishment logic.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lift gates.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills.
  • General computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to use RF devices for inventory management.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to drive a 15-foot box truck.
  • Ability to operate a forklift after receiving proper training and certification.
