Maintenance Coordinator

As a Maintenance Coordinator at Orbis Corporation, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technical department. This role involves managing inventory, organizing spare parts, and maintaining maintenance records. You will also be responsible for creating requisitions for technical purchases, writing EA and Res in the PAR system, and maintaining maintenance PM's for forklifts. Additionally, you will be in charge of contacting vendors to obtain quotes, tracking contractor PM documentation, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. If you have a technical background and are able to work in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory and organize spare parts for the technical department
Create requisitions for technical purchases and maintain maintenance records
Write EA and Res in the PAR system and maintain maintenance PM's for forklifts
Contact vendors to obtain quotes and track contractor PM documentation
Promote continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
2-5 years of relevant work experience with a technical background
High school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational or technical degree desired
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a safe working environment
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of roles and work in a team environment
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required and travel up to 10% of the time
