Job Overview

Minimum Qualifications:

· A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in developing, implementing, or assessing human services, sociology, public health, healthcare services, or health insurance programs; accompanied by a bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related Education Field.

OR

· An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes at least one (1) year of professional experience in the aforementioned areas.

· Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

· The Financial Representative contributes expertise and practical experience gained from roles in administrative functions and human services management.

· Responsibilities include managing diverse projects that vary in duration and complexity, requiring adaptability and a high level of proficiency.

· Projects necessitate a strong ability to utilize, interpret, and analyze data from the Department's software, systems, databases, and online resources.

· May involve training and providing support for these systems to both internal and external stakeholders.

· Respond to inquiries from various departments, external entities, and applicants, both verbally and in writing.

· Coordinate the development and maintenance of IT systems to support program operations and track performance metrics.

· Review and suggest updates to program manuals and materials in light of policy changes.

· Develop and revise forms, reports, and documentation.

· Oversee data collection efforts to prepare comprehensive reports.

· Potential involvement in provider recruitment, enrollment, and outreach initiatives.

· Responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and reconciling billing and payment discrepancies affecting both consumers and providers.

· Ensure the accuracy of existing payments and update systems as necessary.

· Monitor financial and billing issues related to service provision under the Medical Assistance Program, assisting in the evaluation and analysis of special program initiatives.

· Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements at both state and federal levels, and contribute to drafting findings based on non-compliance.

· Identify systemic issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with relevant Department offices for implementation.

· Assist with project development tasks for new and innovative projects assigned to the unit.

· Gather and organize diverse program and technical information for executive staff to utilize in public forums and respond to inquiries from other agencies and legislative bodies.

· Participate in fair hearing preparations as needed.

· Attend trainings, meetings, and conferences on behalf of the Bureau as assigned.

· Assist in tracking information, reviewing reports, and preparing documentation for supervisors and relevant agencies.

· May oversee program enrollment, funding, and effectiveness metrics.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.
