Minimum Qualifications:
· A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of human services, sociology, public health, healthcare services, or health insurance programs; along with a bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related educational field.
OR
· An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes at least one (1) year of professional experience in the aforementioned areas.
· Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
· The Financial Representative leverages knowledge and practical experience gained from administrative roles within human services.
· Projects assigned are diverse, requiring adaptability and proficiency in both short and long-term tasks.
· High proficiency in utilizing, interpreting, and analyzing information from departmental software, systems, databases, and online resources is essential.
· Responsibilities may include training and troubleshooting systems for both internal and external stakeholders.
· Respond to inquiries from various departments, external entities, and families/applicants, both verbally and in writing.
· Coordinate the development and maintenance of information technology to support program operations and track systems effectively.
· Review and suggest modifications to program manuals and materials in accordance with policy updates.
· Develop and revise forms, reports, and documentation as necessary.
· Oversee the collection of data for report preparation.
· May engage in provider recruitment, enrollment, disenrollment, and outreach initiatives.
· Responsible for monitoring, reviewing, researching, and reconciling billing and payment discrepancies affecting consumers and providers.
· Ensure the accuracy of existing payments and update systems as required.
· Monitor financial and billing issues related to service provision under the Medical Assistance Program, assisting in the evaluation and analysis of special program initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements under state and federal regulations, and contribute to writing findings based on non-compliance.
· Identify systemic issues, propose resolutions, and collaborate with relevant department offices for implementation.
· Assist with project development tasks for new and untested initiatives.
· Gather and organize diverse program and technical long-term care information for executive staff to utilize in public forums and respond to inquiries from other agencies and legislative bodies.
· Participate in fair hearing preparations as needed.
· Attend trainings, meetings, and conferences on behalf of the Bureau as assigned.
· Track information, review reports, and prepare documentation for supervisors and relevant agencies when necessary.
· May oversee program enrollment, funding, and effectiveness.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
