Job Overview:
Clopay Corporation, recognized as North America's leading manufacturer of residential garage doors, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to enhance our team. We emphasize outstanding customer engagement and innovative solutions, making our employees vital to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers both in-person and via telephone to accurately process orders using our automated systems.
- Assist in generating quotes and managing order pricing through our automation tools.
- Conduct daily invoice reconciliations.
- Review and audit open order reports on a weekly basis.
- Follow up on customer inquiries regarding credit claims.
- Oversee invoicing for cash on delivery (COD) and open-term accounts.
- Manage bookkeeping tasks necessary for establishing and maintaining open terms and COD accounts, including requisitioning new customer codes.
- Support furnish and install programs as needed, including processing related invoicing and installer payments.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Field incoming calls related to product inquiries and bookkeeping or accounting issues.
- Perform various administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma is mandatory, along with 3-5 years of experience in customer service, ideally within a manufacturing context. Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are essential. Previous clerical or office experience is advantageous.
