About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead the growth of engineered systems sales for powder and liquid applications in the southwest territory. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy for target accounts, aligning Wagner system benefits with customer application needs, and generating price recommendations based on competitive position and Wagner value offering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with Proposals and Engineering to offer unique and optimal application solutions.
* Align Wagner system benefits with customer application needs to develop strong unique selling propositions.
* Generate price recommendations based on competitive position and Wagner value offering.
* Coordinate with other Wagner team members to win target projects.
* Manage a travel schedule to properly cover the territory.
* Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and customers.
* Sell both "top-down" and "bottom-up".
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 3-5 years of sales experience.
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering preferred.
* Sales experience within the manufacturing industry preferred.
* Production or Application knowledge; understands the needs of customers at a production, plant-floor, and application level.
* Mechanical aptitude is helpful in evaluating and understanding the equipment and processes.
* Experience with automation / robotics.
* Experience in an organization which provides overall solutions based around core product offerings.
* Network of industry relationships and contacts.
