Job Title: Catering Sales and Operations ManagerEstimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per yearAbout the Role:This exciting opportunity involves overseeing catering operations and driving sales growth. You'll be responsible for combining administrative and strategic sales management to deliver exceptional service and meet revenue targets.
Main Responsibilities:- Catering Operations:
- Efficiently manage emails, inbound calls, and online orders.
- Oversee order routing via Monkey Media for accurate and timely delivery.
- Communicate order details with stores and managers.
- Support large catering orders with service, delivery, and setup.
- Sales Strategy and Client Acquisition:
- Develop and execute plans to exceed sales targets.
- Expand the client base through cold calling, social media, and networking.
- Stay informed on market trends to craft competitive sales strategies.
- Support the execution of marketing plans to drive revenue.
- Training and Development:
- Lead the development of training materials and creative content.
- Conduct ride-alongs to anticipate and address challenges.
- Facilitate bi-annual staff training on setup, safety, sales, and food practices.
- Validate and train drivers on safety standards.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with catering clients, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, quotes, and service needs.
- Ensure timely follow-up on requests and changes.
- Gather customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Develop positive relationships with restaurant-level employees to facilitate smooth operations and customer service.
- A minimum of 1 year of administrative experience; restaurant or catering experience strongly preferred.
- Proven sales/client management experience with a focus on relationship building and account growth.
- Basic design skills a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- High standards and a passion for excellence in client service.
- A valid driver's license and proof of automotive insurance.
- Food Manager Certification (required upon hire).
