Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:
The branch leader is accountable for overseeing all facets of the assigned branch.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Enhancing branch performance through effective leadership, coaching, and management.
  • Driving business growth, particularly in small business development, which is vital to Truist's mission of fostering better lives and communities.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal controls, operational protocols, and risk management policies.
  • Managing human resources, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and workforce scheduling.

Essential Duties:
Below is a summary of the essential functions for this position. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • Fostering a positive public image and instilling the Purpose, Mission, and Values within the team to support the Truist culture.
  • Driving branch revenue through small business initiatives and client engagement strategies.
  • Engaging in community involvement to develop new business opportunities and enhance the Truist brand.
  • Leading branch engagement routines to motivate and empower team members towards achieving financial success for clients.
  • Collaborating with operations partners to ensure compliance with bank procedures and risk management standards.
  • Making human capital decisions including recruitment, scheduling, and performance management for branch staff.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in financial services or small business.
  • One year of leadership or management experience in a branch setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to inspire and coach team members.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
  • Completion of Internal Leadership Development Programs.

Benefits Overview:
Eligible employees working 20 hours or more per week are entitled to a range of benefits, which may vary based on the division of Truist offering the position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, tax-advantaged savings accounts, and a 401k plan.
