Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Preston-Hunter, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, code, test, document, and maintain applications to meet ERCOT business needs based on the ERCOT defined Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Work closely with customers, business area subject matter experts, team members, and other internal technical teams to design, develop, and maintain complex ERCOT applications in support of market needs and internal corporate requirements.
  • Use toolsets that adhere to the frameworks of the technical stack used across the Application Services division and ensure that products and solutions comply with the organization's architectural standards.
Requirements:
  • Ansible and bash scripting experience.
  • Knowledge of Git, Maven, and Jenkins for automated RPM builds.
  • Linux knowledge and awareness.
  • DevSecOps development mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure Cloud Development Experience.
  • CrafterCMS 4.x Experience.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience of 5+ years software development.
