Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned litigation paralegal to contribute significantly to our legal practice at Koller Trial Law. Your role will be vital in guiding clients through their legal challenges with expertise and dedication. As a prominent personal injury law firm, we focus on providing outstanding legal services and require a talented paralegal to support our attorneys in achieving justice for our clients.

Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000 plus performance-based bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all legal calendar deadlines and case milestones effectively.
  • Organize legal appointments, court appearances, and related activities efficiently.
  • Prioritize case workloads to ensure timely progress.
  • Handle client communications via phone and email with professionalism.
  • Maintain and update client records in the firm's case management system.
  • Organize both physical and electronic client case files meticulously.
  • Draft legal documents for meetings, depositions, and hearings accurately.
  • Prepare discovery materials and respond to discovery requests diligently.
  • Assist attorneys with legal research and citation verification tasks.
  • Conduct thorough factual investigations and analyze case issues comprehensively.
  • Keep clients informed about case status proactively.
  • Communicate with courts, couriers, and litigation support vendors as necessary.
  • Support all phases of case preparation, including discovery and trial.
  • Compile trial binders and coordinate trial exhibits with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation paralegal work, preferably with a background in insurance bad faith cases.
  • A bachelor's degree and paralegal certification are preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • High attention to detail is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 and familiarity with office equipment is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset are crucial.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on consistency and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach are needed.
