We are in search of a dedicated paralegal with experience in litigation to support our criminal law practice. This role involves managing the intricacies of each litigation phase, including investigation, discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation.
As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate closely with attorneys, assisting in depositions, preparing witnesses, and conducting legal research. Your responsibilities will include determining and preparing exhibits for hearings and trials, as well as providing assistance to attorneys throughout all litigation phases, both in and out of the courtroom.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Paralegal with a strong understanding of Criminal Law to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic personality and be ready to embrace the challenges of this role. Compensation:
$40,000 - $55,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal pleadings and motions related to criminal law cases
- Managing correspondence with opposing counsel and courts
- Overseeing all aspects of criminal law cases
- Filing legal documents in district and federal courts
- Coordinating attorney schedules and docketing events
- Tracking billable hours for case work
Qualifications:
- Experience as a paralegal in criminal law
- Ability to draft basic legal pleadings and motions
- Skilled in organizing and collecting client documents and exhibits
- Experience in litigation processes
- Strong client relations skills
