Your expertise and dedication will be vital in navigating the complexities of legal challenges faced by those we represent.
Compensation:$55,000 - $65,000 plus performance-based bonuses
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all legal deadlines and case milestones effectively.
- Organize legal appointments, court appearances, and associated tasks with precision.
- Prioritize case workloads efficiently.
- Handle client communications via phone and email professionally.
- Maintain and update client records in the firm's case management system.
- Organize both physical and electronic case files meticulously.
- Draft legal documents for meetings, depositions, and hearings accurately.
- Prepare discovery materials and respond to discovery requests.
- Assist attorneys with legal research and citation verification.
- Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of case-related issues.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their cases proactively.
- Communicate with courts, couriers, and litigation support vendors as necessary.
- Support all phases of case preparation, including discovery and trial.
- Compile trial binders and coordinate trial exhibits diligently.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation paralegal work, preferably with a focus on insurance bad faith cases.
- A bachelor's degree and paralegal certification are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 is necessary, along with experience using office equipment.
- Must be organized, efficient, and adept at prioritizing tasks.
- A positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset are crucial.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment is required.
- Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on detail and professionalism are essential.
