Overview:
The realm of Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care is burgeoning with opportunities that offer a harmonious work-life balance. We are in search of a dedicated FFS Attending Physician/Medical Director to join our esteemed organization. This role is designed to provide flexibility in scheduling, with no weekend commitments.

Compensation:
The annual remuneration for this position is set at $250,000.

Role Summary:
This position encompasses a dual responsibility as both Attending Physician and Medical Director, with a focus on clinical duties. Candidates must possess Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with experience in Long-Term Care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full accountability for the patients under your care.
- Adhere to the credentialing processes established by Genesis HealthCare Services.
- Conduct timely visits to assigned patients in accordance with company policies.
- Follow guidelines associated with Genesis HealthCare Services initiatives.
- Uphold the standards and regulations set forth by the Medical Staff.
- Ensure compliance with corporate integrity policies.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document a complete history and physical examination within 72 hours of patient admission.
- Deliver exceptional care to all assigned patients.
- Collaborate closely with the Center Medical Director to enhance care quality within the facility.
- Serve as a role model for fellow physicians and staff members.
- Advocate for the mission of Genesis HealthCare Services within the community and professional circles.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with local hospitals and pertinent institutions for coordinated care.
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment to providing high-quality service to all stakeholders.
- Adhere to company policies regarding time off and on-call duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compliance Responsibilities:
- Comply with all applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures, including those related to compliance processes and the Code of Conduct.
- Participate in mandatory orientation and training programs.
- Promptly report any concerns or suspected compliance issues to management or the Compliance Officer.
- Cooperate with monitoring, auditing, and investigative functions.

Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
- M.D. or D.O. is required.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred, with ongoing certification maintenance.
- Specialization in Geriatrics is a plus.
- Certification as a Medical Director (CMD) through AMDA is desirable.

Compensation Target:
$250,000.
