Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management and referral services to residents in need of assistance.
  • Assess service needs and determine eligibility for public services.
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans for tenants.
  • Monitor the provision of services from community agencies and maintain accurate records.
  • Establish connections with community agencies and service providers to ensure access to resources.
  • Refer tenants to programs and services at The Salvation Army Eagle Creek Corps and other community providers.
  • Educate tenants on service availability, application procedures, and client rights.
  • Assist tenants in building informal support networks with other residents, family, and friends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, or Counseling preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in social service delivery.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems.
Working Conditions:
