Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist Lead to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and ensuring that our department operates in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of mammography technologists, ensuring that diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and quantity of work flow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with scheduling and timekeeping for mammography technologists, ensuring that staffing levels are adequate to meet patient needs.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and DMC policies, implementing audit recommendations as directed.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
  • Two or more years of progressively more responsible mammography technologist work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse atmosphere, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge necessary to operate equipment, including specialized equipment and computers.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handling multiple and changing priorities.
