Job Summary:

The Lead Mammography Technologist will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and overseeing the activities of mammography technologists. You will also be responsible for monitoring the quantity and quality of work, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures, and recommending personnel actions as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of work and delegate tasks to mammography technologists
  • Oversee the activities of mammography technologists and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of work and recommend personnel actions as needed
  • Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and implement external and internal audit recommendations
  • Have the responsibility for scheduling of and timekeeping for mammography technologists
Requirements:
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Mammography (M)
  • Required to have or successfully complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
  • Two or more years progressively more responsible Mammography Technologist work experience
