We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a Lead Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and ensuring that the department is operating in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the work of Mammography Technologists, ensuring that diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide guidance and training to staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
- Two or more years of progressively more responsible Mammography Technologist work experience.
- Excellent analytical, clinical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
