Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a vital liaison among depots, maintenance & repair teams, truck planners, and account managers.
  • Conduct reconciliation of depot inventory reports.
  • Update inventory management systems to reflect stock changes at depots (including empty returns and cleaning).
  • Oversee depot performance related to tank cleaning and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Utilize available tools to select tanks for loading (including TLA, inventory systems, spreadsheets, and depot reports).
  • Monitor tank inventories and reposition as necessary to fulfill export orders.
  • Coordinate tank repositioning efforts with truck planning teams.
  • Create, review, and maintain tank preparation orders.
  • Allocate tanks to orders in the inventory system and dispatch tank preparation orders to depots.
  • Add and update modalities in the inventory management system.
  • Troubleshoot tank-related issues and escalate to Global Technical as required (e.g., leaks, incomplete repairs, unprepared tanks).
  • Coordinate the return of empty tanks to depots with the equipment planning team.
  • Generate reports as needed to track daily tank planning activities.
  • Assist in maintaining carrier trucking rates.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
