Client Engagement Specialist

The Client Engagement Specialist plays a critical role in managing the renewal process for a defined set of customers. This involves retaining existing contract revenue within existing buying centers and supporting new sales into these accounts made by the Account Executive. The ideal candidate will partner with our teams to ensure client needs are met, develop and drive successful renewals, and ensure a strong revenue base for Dow Jones. Success will be measured based on retention rates of assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a renewal plan for assigned strategic accounts
- Provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager highlighting high-risk renewal accounts and strategies to turnaround
- Ensure appropriate levels of customer training and product utilization through collaboration with the Product Training Specialist team and monitoring internal reports
- Oversee the renewal lifecycle, from pricing and contracting to invoicing and client support, to address customer concerns effectively
- Support new sales into existing accounts to maximize customer return on investment with Dow Jones
- Develop a deep understanding of clients, including their business groups, value derived from Dow Jones services, and current and developing needs
- Identify opportunities for increased revenue within assigned accounts through up-selling and cross-selling, and work with the sales team to follow through on these opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our systems, primarily communicating with clients via telephone and email
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in customer engagement or B2B sales
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Drive
