As a Regional Production Specialist (Executive Underwriter), you will play a pivotal role in driving business expansion.

Your Role in Creating Impact

  • This position is crucial within our Builders Risk division, where you will be responsible for meeting objectives and delivering results. Your duties will include mentoring team members, managing various programs and processes, and addressing complex underwriting tasks.
  • You will excel by effectively balancing the interests of diverse stakeholders, making informed decisions based on data, analysis, experience, judgment, and a risk-aware mindset. Building strong relationships with brokers and exemplifying high standards of customer service will be essential.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning will be part of your mission, as you guide colleagues through effective mentorship. You will focus on facilitating personal development and career advancement in alignment with succession planning.
  • Your contributions will also extend to new business development, including participating in broker events and cultivating new market relationships.

Qualifications for Success

  • Demonstrated experience in underwriting or broking within builders risk (preferred), with a successful track record in client product sales.
  • Extensive technical knowledge.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience in developing junior team members.
  • Ability to analyze financial documents effectively.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Customer-focused and sales-oriented mindset: driven, persistent, skilled, proactive, and accountable.
