About the Role

This is a key position in our Underwriting team, where you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success. As a Regional Production Specialist - Executive Underwriter, you will be responsible for achieving goals and outcomes, mentoring colleagues, and handling complex underwriting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of achieving goals and outcomes in the Builders Risk team.

  • Mentor and develop more junior colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Handle complex underwriting tasks, including analyzing financial statements and making sound decisions using data and analysis.

  • Build effective relationships with brokers and deliver high customer service standards.

  • Contribute to new business development, including attending industry events and building new relationships across the market.

Requirements

  • Proven underwriting or broking experience in builders risk, with a successful record of selling products to clients.

  • Deep technical expertise and knowledge of financial statements.

  • Proven people management skills and ability to develop more junior colleagues.

  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Customer and sales-oriented behaviors, including being motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
