Your Role in Creating Value
- As a key member of our Builders Risk team, you will take charge of achieving objectives and outcomes. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members, overseeing various programs and processes, and managing complex underwriting tasks.
- You will excel by effectively balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders and making informed decisions based on data, analysis, experience, judgment, and a risk-oriented mindset. Building strong relationships with brokers and setting a high standard for customer service will be essential.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning will be a priority as you mentor colleagues through exemplary role modeling. You will support personal growth and career advancement as part of succession planning.
- Your contributions will also extend to new business development, which includes attending industry events and cultivating new market relationships.
Qualifications for Success
- Demonstrated experience in underwriting or broking within builders risk (preferred, but property and/or Inland Marine experience will also be considered) with a proven track record of successfully selling products to clients.
- In-depth technical knowledge.
- Strong people management capabilities with a history of developing junior colleagues.
- Ability to analyze financial statements effectively.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Customer-focused and sales-oriented behaviors: motivated, persistent, detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable.
