Your Impactful Contributions
- In this vital position within our Builders Risk team, you will take charge of achieving strategic objectives and outcomes. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members, overseeing various programs and processes, and managing intricate underwriting tasks.
- You will excel by effectively balancing the interests of diverse stakeholders, making informed decisions based on data, analysis, experience, judgment, and a risk-aware mindset. Building strong relationships with brokers and exemplifying high standards of customer service will be essential.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning will be part of your role, as you mentor colleagues through effective role modeling and support their personal and professional growth.
- Your involvement in new business development will be significant, including participation in broker events and cultivating new market relationships.
Qualifications for Success
- Demonstrated experience in underwriting or broking within builders risk (preferred), or a background in property and/or Inland Marine underwriting.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing junior team members.
- Capability to analyze financial documents effectively.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Customer-focused and sales-oriented mindset: motivated, persistent, detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable.
