POSITION SUMMARY The FOH Lead is responsible for managing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that we deliver outstanding food and beverage experiences. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in hospitality and a commitment to excellence in service.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Oversee shifts to guarantee consistent delivery of high-quality food and service.
- Ensure adherence to company standards regarding quality and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance service quality and product knowledge.
- Identify and implement improvements in productivity, guest satisfaction, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory effectively and resolve any food quality or service concerns swiftly.
- Supervise opening and closing operations of the café.
- Monitor dining and storage areas to maintain health and safety compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a talent for fostering teamwork.
- Strong leadership capabilities with effective delegation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in restaurant and hospitality management is essential.
- Knowledge of healthy culinary practices and experience with catering services is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast software is advantageous.
- Understanding of OSHA and health regulations is important.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
