Job Title: OBD Calibration Tuning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled OBD Calibration Tuning Engineer to join our team at DBSI Services, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for studying and analyzing system errors and features, taking ownership of the system errors diagnostic process, and collaborating with diagnostic development teams to incorporate requirements in OBD certification documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Study and analyze system errors and features to identify areas for improvement.
  • Take ownership of the system errors diagnostic process and ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with diagnostic development teams to incorporate requirements in OBD certification documents.
  • Tune and validate system errors and features to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and validate systems according to ISO 26262 standards.
  • Document all work according to required standards and functional safety guidelines.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and review contents/artifacts for peer teammates.
  • Conduct daily stand-up/status calls with customers and improve/support to enhance quality of project artifacts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive domain, with strong knowledge of systems engineering, engine, powertrain domain, control systems, and performance control.
  • Knowledge of requirement specification, engines, and emission systems.
  • Experience with calibration tuning, diagnostics (OBD II) tuning and validation, and exposure to functional safety - ISO-26262.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK and experience in automotive domain (preferred).
  • Knowledge of certification process (CARB, EPA).
Compensation:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
