Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing equipment calibrations, repairs, and maintenance, as well as asset management. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Service Responsibilities
    • Analyze test results and determine their acceptability against predetermined criteria.
    • Manage deviations related to equipment qualification studies.
    • Adhere to strict documentation, review, and approval processes.
    • Execute tasks under GXP and ISO 17025 requirements.
  • Investigation and Troubleshooting
    • Investigate and troubleshoot problems, determining solutions or recommendations for changes and improvements.
    • Expand facilities and upgrade equipment and software as needed.
  • Calibration and Maintenance
    • Develop and execute calibration protocols and summary reports for all equipment.
    • Perform maintenance on process equipment.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Communicate with clients on an ongoing basis to discuss test results, trend analysis, and matters related to exceeded concern levels.
    • Provide reports under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Method Modification and Development
    • Collaborate in the research and implementation of new testing and technology.
    • Develop and validate new methods.
  • Planning of Tests
    • Ensure the conditions of the facility are suitable for testing and provide a safe environment for employees.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor of Science in a scientific field.
  • Work Experience
    • 2 years of calibration experience.
    • Preferred experience: 3 years of calibration experience.
