About the Role

Azzur Group is seeking a skilled Calibration Specialist to join our team. As a Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for performing equipment calibrations, repairs, and maintenance, as well as asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze test results and determine their acceptability against predetermined criteria.
  • Manage deviations related to equipment qualification studies.
  • Ensure strict documentation, reviews, and approvals.
  • Execute under Good eXperimental Practice (GxP) and ISO 17025 requirements.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot problems, and determine solutions or recommendations for changes and improvements.
  • Develop and execute calibration protocols and summary reports for all equipment.
  • Provide maintenance on process equipment.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of instruments.
Reporting and Communication
  • Possess relevant knowledge of the technology used for manufacturing materials tested, or the way they are used or intended to be used, and of the defects or degradations that may occur during or in service.
  • Understand the significance of deviations found with regard to the normal use of materials tested.
  • Communicate with clients on an ongoing basis to discuss interpretation of test results, trend analysis, and matters regarding exceeded concern levels, follow-ups, and reports under the guidance of a supervisor.
Method Development and Validation
  • Collaborate in the research and implementation of new testing and technology, and the method validation associated.
  • Ensure that the test methodologies selected have the capability of providing the quality of results required; verification procedures used are adequate to determine the accuracy, precision, and other pertinent performance characteristics of the method.
  • Responsible for drafting and revision of documents.
Planning and Safety
  • Ensure the conditions of the facility are appropriate for the testing performed and provide a safe environment in which employees are protected from physical, chemical, and biological hazards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in a scientific field.
  • 2 years of calibration experience.
  • Preferred experience: 3 years of calibration experience.
