US Farathane is a leading plastics manufacturing company seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to preserve the useful life of equipment and prevent premature failures. The ideal candidate will utilize lead time to deliberately plan repair work and effectively utilize resources. Key responsibilities include interacting with vendors to procure cost-effective components, assigning work orders to technicians based on their skill sets, and maintaining accurate records of parts and labor. The successful candidate will also be responsible for continually evolving and improving the preventative and predictive maintenance system, as well as maintaining spare part inventories and ordering parts as needed. Additionally, the Maintenance Planner will assist the EHS Coordinator in scheduling tasks related to the Risk Management List and follow all prescribed manufacturer maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate will have a related technical certificate, five years of related experience, and/or training, with previous plastics experience preferred. Knowledge of Engel and Krauss Mafei presses and Whittman and Fanuc robots is also beneficial. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of equipment and facilities, and will work closely with the management team to achieve this goal.
