Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Manager - Self Storage to join our team at Public Storage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our self-storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Storage Unit Management: Conduct daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability, and make recommendations to customers on storage solutions.
  • Cash Handling: Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with customers, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our property management team to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, with frequent walking and standing required.
