Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled culinary team leader to join our corrections division. In this role, you will oversee and direct the activities of kitchen staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established culinary standards in a vibrant and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing guidance and training to staff in all facets of food preparation and hygiene, ensuring timely meal service and maintaining high standards for portion control, presentation, and temperature of all dishes.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of prior experience in a high-volume culinary environment, with a focus on scratch cooking.
  • Thorough understanding of culinary techniques, methods, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive product knowledge, deliver exceptional customer service, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food Handlers certification is advantageous.
Compensation:

$18.00 per hour
