Deputy Director/Assistant Director, Consumer Issues Division

At the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Consumer Issues Division as a Deputy Director/Assistant Director. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting financial literacy and consumer protection in Singapore.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance financial education and consumer protection in Singapore. This will involve collaborating with industry partners and government agencies to develop and implement financial education initiatives and communication strategies. You will also engage with consumers on their complaints or feedback on financial institutions and practices in the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial education initiatives and communication strategies to promote financial literacy among consumers.
- Engage with consumers on their complaints or feedback on financial institutions and practices in the financial industry.
- Collaborate with industry partners and government agencies to develop and implement financial education initiatives.
- Provide secretariat support to inter-agency committees on financial education initiatives.
- Good analytical skills and understanding of consumer engagement and financial behavior.
- Good knowledge of or keen interest in financial products and services.
- Experience in financial education or content development and management of website and social media channels.
- Keen interest in public service.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.
