About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Central Banking & Devt Platforms division as a Deputy/Assistant Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the systems supporting the currency management systems to provide currency note services to the banks and security couriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Notes Operations Registration Management System (NORMS) and other currency management systems to ensure optimal performance and high system availability.
  • Work closely with the user department and vendor to plan and devise solutions for enhancements to NORMS and currency management systems to meet business requirements, enhance system performance, and comply with MAS IT security standards.
  • Perform annual technology and cyber risk assessment of the critical IT system and work with external agencies, such as the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, GovTech, and Auditor-General's Office.
  • Manage key contractors to achieve optimal performance and contractual requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of experience in system portfolio and application management, IT business analysis, solution design, project management, and system operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in managing projects and product development using waterfall methods and/or agile methods.
  • Experience in establishing vendor contracts and managing IT vendor performance.
  • Expertise in IT business analysis, software quality management, and application technology.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal communication and organizing skills.
