Job Title: Deputy Director/Assistant Director, Consumer Issues Division

At the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), we are committed to promoting a sound financial services sector through our prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore. As part of our team, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of financial literacy and education among consumers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial education initiatives and communication strategies in collaboration with industry partners and government agencies.
  • Run campaigns and events, such as webinars and seminars, to educate the public on financial matters.
  • Provide secretariat support to inter-agency committees on financial education initiatives.
  • Engage consumers on their complaints or feedback on financial institutions and practices in the financial industry.
  • Work with supervisory departments to craft clear and empathetic replies to consumer concerns.
Requirements:
  • Good analytical skills and understanding of consumer engagement and financial behavior.
  • Good knowledge of or keen interest in financial products and services.
  • Experience in financial education or content development and management of website and social media channels.
  • Keen interest in public service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.
