Job Description

At Sonesta International Hotels, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing the sales strategy of the hotel to achieve occupancy, average daily rate, extended stay, and market share goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and clients, ensuring a positive experience that aligns with our Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to drive revenue growth and achieve targeted room night goals.
  • Execute directives from the hotel Director of Sales and Regional Sales Director to effectively operate the Sales Office.
  • Communicate operational problems that impact sales performance and work with other departments to facilitate services for prospective clients.
  • Assist in creating and implementing hotel-level tactical sales plans to drive measurable occupancy, average rate, and extended stay business volume.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the extended stay industry is preferred.
  • Fluent English language skills, with the ability to speak, read, and write.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems is preferred.
  • Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, and a valid driver's license.
