OBXtek is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to support the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract. This role is crucial in facilitating Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Directorate operations. The selected candidate will engage with Directorate leadership and assist Space Force stakeholders.
- Manage high-profile or mission-critical initiatives, executing all functional responsibilities autonomously. May supervise junior staff and/or oversee the contributions of all personnel assigned to specific tasks.
- Deliver Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PBBE) assistance.
- Evaluate various stages of the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes as they pertain to the administration and oversight of all programs within the Directorate, providing actionable recommendations to the Government.
- Establish protocols for precise and comprehensive responses to planning, programming, budgeting, and execution management tasks in alignment with official directives, regulations, and guidance.
- Offer subject matter expertise in Government budgeting, foreign military sales funding, and international partner agreements.
- Conduct research, perform reviews, and deliver assessments.
- Assist in the formulation of the Program Objective Memorandum, Staffer Day preparations, Spring Program Reviews, Investment Budget Review, Program Management Reviews, Mid-year Execution Reviews, Baseline Execution Reviews, Vice-Commander's Forum, Financial Management Reviews, Acquisition Mission Support, Business Management Reviews, and other budget execution activities.
- Provide comprehensive, quantifiable documentation and thorough justification for assessment findings, corrective action plans, and recommendations.
Salary Range: $135,000 - $220,000/year
QualificationsUS Citizenship and a current Secret Clearance are mandatory.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (MA/MS) in a relevant field such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
- A minimum of 10 years of substantial, relevant experience in high-visibility or mission-critical program aspects, performing all functional duties independently and overseeing personnel in the same career field.
- Proficient in advising, innovating, optimizing, and providing thorough recommendations to Government Senior Leaders.
- Expertise in utilizing MS Office applications and DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in business is preferred (Master's Degree in an unrelated field requires an additional 2 years of relevant experience or relevant Professional Certification).
- APDP Level III or equivalent is preferred.
