Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to support our general and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will have significant employee relations experience, deep subject matter expertise, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Balancing reactive/crisis-response matters and proactive work is crucial for success in this position.
  • The Employee Relations Manager will lead the design, development, and execution of proactive initiatives that improve the employee experience.
  • This includes analyzing people programs, policies, and practices to drive positive employee relations and best practices in partnership with PXT and the business.

The Manager, Employee Relations – G&A, will also lead crisis-oriented responses, including de-escalating and resolving workplace issues and managing ER/LR escalations from senior business leadership, PXT, and/or legal stakeholders.

About the Team

The position reports to the Principal, Global Corporate Employee Relations. We value innovation and recognize that sometimes it requires uninterrupted time to focus on building. We also value in-person collaboration and time spent face-to-face. Our team offers employees options to work in the office every day or in a flexible, hybrid work model near Arlington, Virginia or Seattle, Washington.

Requirements
  • At least seven (7) years direct experience in employee relations, human resources, or employment/labor law with an emphasis on employee relations work.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience working with and applying employment & labor laws throughout the United States.
  • Technically proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
