Job Overview

As a Clinical Resource Specialist in our Cardiac/Structural department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a resource and leader in the continuum of care for our Structural Heart patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the clinical workup of new patients, including medications, testing, and procedural orders.
  • Work with patients to educate them on their care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, clinic co-workers, perioperative co-workers, and leaders to identify opportunities for improvement in the continuum of care.
  • Assist in the development of processes to meet Mercy's dimensions of excellence.


Requirements:

  • 2 years of intraoperative experience.
  • Preferred experience: 5 years of Cardiac experience.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited school.
  • Current RN license in our state.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: CNOR certification.
