Job Overview

PrideStaff Financial is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Finance Department, providing financial information to executive leadership, and administering employee benefits and IT duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the finance staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable, and business plan preparation.
  • Delegate financial tasks to ensure efficiency and coordinate with subsidiary financial teams for requested financial data.
  • Recruit, hire, and conduct performance evaluations for accounting and financial staff.
  • Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff.
  • Ensure the Finance Department accomplishes key tasks, including maintaining GL reconciliations, processing ACH and credit card payments, and completing bi-weekly payroll and 401(k) contributions.
  • Support HR and serve as backup when required.
  • Liaise with outsourced IT vendors and be the first point of contact for IT issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe software.
  • Experience with ERP systems, GL systems, HRIS systems, and payroll and benefits administration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work extended hours when required.
