About Premier Residential and Assisted Living:
We are a 38-bed assisted living and residential care community seeking a full-time cook to join our team. As a dietary cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs of our residents.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced cook to join our culinary team. As a dietary cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals in large quantities, washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and performing other duties as assigned by the facility manager.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive and respectful dining experience for our residents.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving meals.
- Work collaboratively with the dietitian to ensure that meals meet the nutritional needs of our residents.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in cooking and food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Certifications in food handling and preparation (e.g., Food Safety Certification).
