Overview

Commonwealth Senior Living at Cedar Manor is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to seniors in our community. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Resident Care Associate (RCA) to join our team.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $25,000-$35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.

Job Description

The RCA will be responsible for assisting residents with daily tasks, maintaining communication with the Resident Care Director regarding care provision and resident condition changes. This includes aiding residents with mobility, making routine resident care rounds, and documenting daily care activities in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.

The RCA must also be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, as well as operate medication carts. They must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, maintaining continuous movement throughout work hours. The ability to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds is necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Compassionate disposition and a desire to serve; prior experience not required.
  • Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
  • Direct-Care or other state specific certification required, or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain according to company policy.
  • Upholds resident confidentiality.
Working Environment

This position carries a medium risk of exposure to COVID-19 due to direct care provision to potentially positive residents. The RCA will be working in a supportive living environment, assisting residents with their daily needs and ensuring their safety and well-being.
