About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Culinary Specialist to join our team at Viva Senior Living.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and presentation, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. In addition to culinary skills, this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and present meals that meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Dietary Accommodations: Cater to the dietary needs of our residents, including special requests and restrictions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Ensure that all residents receive exceptional service and enjoy their dining experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in food preparation and presentation, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
