POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for managing the daily functions of the Front Desk Department and Guest Services to ensure optimal guest satisfaction. Act as the primary liaison for guests and various hotel departments in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adherence to all front desk and communication protocols, including effective guest check-in and check-out procedures, prompt telephone service, and resolution of guest inquiries and concerns.
- Lead and train front desk personnel and operators, assist in onboarding and continuous training, and guarantee that all responsibilities are executed efficiently and on schedule.
- Oversee daily room inventory, manage corporate lounge operations, and ensure completion of all required reports.
- Train during overnight shifts to gain proficiency in Night Audit responsibilities as required.
- Support Guest Relations and Receivables as needed.
- Implement and oversee safety and sanitation protocols, including health guidelines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a capacity to effectively manage staff and guest needs.
- Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in front desk operations is required, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Consistent attendance in accordance with hotel standards is mandatory.
- Subject to disciplinary measures for irregular attendance or lateness.
