Position Overview:

The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for guests and owners at our resort. This position involves checking guests in and out, addressing inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service both over the phone and in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for guests and owners.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Handle a significant volume of incoming calls from guests and owners.
  • Communicate efficiently with guests, supervisors, and team members.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues with professionalism and composure.
  • Gather and verify guest information, assign accommodations, and manage key distribution.

Additional Duties:

Occasionally assist guests with luggage and deliver requested items to their rooms.

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing team player with strong communication skills, capable of multitasking while providing exemplary service to guests and associates alike.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred experience in customer service or the hospitality sector.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in hospitality.
  • Professional telephone etiquette is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, as well as perform tasks such as sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The role may require lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 lbs.
