Junior Service Desk Technician

Occam Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Service Desk Technician to join our team at AFB MacDill. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring their hardware, software, network, and applications issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and instant messaging
  • Work rotating shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform troubleshooting, research, and diagnosis of technical issues
  • Document and track problems and work orders using Remedy ticketing system
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network, system, and application software
Requirements:
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification within 90 days of hire
  • Current TS/SCI clearance
  • Apprentice level technical knowledge of workstation hardware and Microsoft Technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
