Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Aretum is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate warehouse facilities in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Offload trucks using forklift equipment.
  • Receive and inspect items for Government customers.
  • Scan package tracking numbers into our database system.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and verify materials.
  • Prepare and submit vouchers with supporting documentation.
  • Notify the property team of items requiring barcoding.
  • Deliver items to Government end users in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process military shipping documents as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of technical supply management principles.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to handle dirty parts and wear personal protective equipment.
  • Operating power vehicles and machinery as necessary.
  • Ability to work in various environments.
