Job Overview

Position: Nondestructive Testing Project Manager

Western Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled NDT Project Manager to oversee and enhance our established services across the organization. The successful candidate will possess proven leadership skills and hold a Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT). Preference will be given to individuals with a current ASNT Level III certification in one or more disciplines and experience in Phased Array techniques, as well as inspection qualifications with AWS / CWI. A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction or industrial sectors is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the NDT Director for the region.
  • Manage, sell, and execute NDT services throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with the NDT Technical Director to implement growth strategies and ensure quality assurance and quality control.
  • Lead training initiatives and career development programs for NDT personnel.
  • Support project managers in addressing technical challenges across various projects.
  • Draft and interpret inspection protocols and administrative guidelines.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
