Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to the Governance process by engaging stakeholders, preparing status reports, and conducting executive briefings
  • Conduct project planning exercises to successfully deliver the project
  • Manage vendor relationships, including deliverable acceptance, milestone payment, contract adherence, and escalations
  • Oversee budget management and tracking
  • Create, track, and deliver project timelines, tasks, and metrics
Requirements
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a project lead with a background in technology projects involving multiple computer subsystems
  • Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience with upgrades or conversion
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
  • Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications
  • Master's degree in business, public administration, information technology, or a related field
  • Experience in IT program or project management
  • Experience leading IT project management teams
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Experience with software implementation/upgrade
  • Experience working with public sector organizations
  • Experience with project and portfolio management tools
  • Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills
