Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Phoenix. This role is responsible for overseeing the overall project management, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Expertise
  • Develop and implement technical solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Manage project scope, ensuring the utilization of industry-proven technology and innovative designs.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts across disciplines and departments.
  • Apply DRA project management processes to ensure project success.
Operational Management
  • Contribute to SHE matters, promoting a total safety culture.
  • Manage project set-up, including the development of project procedures.
  • Manage project scope, including change control processes.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets and cost control processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to both DRA and client interests.
  • Ensure project quality management, adhering to the agreed plan.
  • Manage project communications, including documentation control and reporting.
  • Oversee project execution, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Financial
  • Manage project commercial aspects to ensure profitability and alignment with tender-stage margins.
  • Maximize contractual bonus opportunities without compromising project or DRA standards.
  • Manage commercial relationships with clients, mitigating risks and ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Manage EPCM/manhour budgets.
  • Manage client invoicing processes, ensuring timely payments.
Client Relations
  • Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients.
  • Meet and exceed client deliverables.
  • Effectively solve client problems.
  • Keep clients informed and up-to-date on project status.
  • Ensure professional and respectful interactions with clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in mining and infrastructure industries, including project development and management of multiple projects through their complete cycles.
  • 12+ years of experience in a design and construction company in the Mining and/or EPCM Industries.
  • 10+ years of general experience and understanding of risk assessment, advanced analysis, earned value management, trending, claims, forecasting, and contractor negotiations.
