Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Della Infotech Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll data, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, including calculating wages, taxes, and benefits
  • Manage payroll data, including tracking hours worked, vacation time, and sick leave
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including FLSA and tax regulations
  • Prepare and issue payroll reports, including standard and special reports
  • Facilitate audit requests and prepare special reports as assigned by management
  • Support and collaborate with team members on payroll-related topics
  • Resolve payroll questions and time tracking inquiries via our People Connect portal ServiceNow

Requirements:

  • Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking or similar systems
  • Fundamental Payroll Professional (FPP) designation preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, process-focused, problem-solver, proactive, ambitious, customer-service-focused
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limited information
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community
  • Self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills to gather and analyze information to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Significant knowledge of payroll systems, FLSA, Federal and State laws, and administration of sound techniques in all aspects of payroll

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, 0-3 years of experience
